Smokin' Acorn

Slaughterhouse-Five - Kurt Vonnegut

Although there's nothing funny about death & war, I've enjoyed the dark humor found throughout the book. Billy's take on death seemed a bit nonchalant, but maybe that's the way it is for him to help him cope with his war experiences in addition to what he had learned in Trafamaldore. Reading about time-travel is always fun, & it's integrated into the story seamlessly though I found it disorienting at times. Trafamaldorian's philosophy on life was quite interesting & strangely comforting to read about. Enjoyed the reading experience of this book.
